The blade of this Ryū no Yaiba katana is forged using traditional swordsmith methods in manganese steel, ground to a precise shinogi-zukuri profile with a clean iori-mune spine and a well-proportioned chu-kissaki tip. Along the obverse face, an ascending dragon rises from the habaki in extraordinary detail: scales, claws, whiskers, and a serpentine body rendered over approximately 15 to 20 centimeters of polished steel. The mu-hi configuration, no bo-hi groove, preserves the clean, unbroken geometry of the steel from spine to edge.

What elevates the Dragon’s Blade beyond a single striking element is the absolute thematic coherence of its koshirae.
