The cast iron tsuba presents a high-relief scene of a tiger among chrysanthemum and peony blossoms, with warm gilt highlights across both the animal and the floral work, commanding the eye from every angle. The brass habaki is engraved with a floral mon medallion, a crest-like detail that elevates the perceived pedigree of the piece. Fuchi and kashira mirror the tsuba in blackened metal with golden botanical motifs, forming a fully matched set. Golden menuki anchor the grip beneath a tight, evenly spaced diamond wrap of grey ito over black samegawa, providing a firm and precise hold that feels as deliberate as it looks.
