A gilded brass habaki with finely knurled decorative edging creates a luminous band at the guard junction, matched by coordinating brass seppa for seamless cohesion. The saya is lacquered solid wood, finished in a bold burnt orange with pearlescent metallic shimmer, the kind of amber-gold warmth that makes the blue blade and golden grip ignite by contrast.
