The saya of this dragon samurai sword is its crowning statement. Lacquered in deep royal blue with a flawless high-gloss finish, it carries an intricate polychrome dragon rendered in gold, amber, and dimensional color gradients against the dark ground, with silver-white cloud or waves motifs drifting near the koiguchi. The white sageo, koiguchi, and kurikata create a precise accent framework that anchors the composition. The round brass tsuba carries a carved dragon in the same gold register, and the gilded brass habaki bridges blade and handle with warmth and precision.
