Golden Katana Sword: Built for Imperial Presence

There are swords made to cut, and swords made to command a room. This golden katana sword belongs to the second category entirely. Its blade glows with a warm copper-to-rose-gold tone, shifting across the shinogi like light across burnished metal, impossible to ignore and impossible to forget. The classical shinogi-zukuri geometry, the clean iori-mune spine, the proportionate chū-kissaki point, the bo-hi; every structural choice speaks the language of the Edo-period daimyō sword, rendered here in gold and shadow.

Brass and Unified Design

What elevates this gold katana beyond a simple display piece is the absolute coherence of its koshirae. Every metal fitting, the tsuba, fuchi, kashira, and menuki, belongs to a single matched set in cast gilt brass with intentional antique patination. The dominant motif draws from an aquatic theme, with a tsuba decorated with waves and scale-like patterns, evoking fish or marine creatures. The fuchi and kashira feature finely engraved floral designs, adding a touch of elegance and contrast to the overall composition.

Traditional Craftsmanship, Uncompromising Quality

A katana is more than a sword, it’s a symbol of precision, discipline, and Japanese heritage. Our katanas are crafted with respect for traditional sword-making standards, offering you a reliable, durable, and beautifully finished blade. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced collector, you’ll find the perfect katana for your needs.

Gold Ito, Ray Skin and Brass

The tsuka of this golden katana is hand-assembled with the precision the koshirae demands. Gold ito leather wraps the handle in a tight, even hineri-maki diamond pattern, with consistent lozenge spacing across the full length and no loose sections. Beneath the wrap, a white ivory-toned same (ray skin imitation) under-layer provides the traditional textured foundation, visible between diamonds and adding structural grip to visual refinement. The gold-toned dragon menuki sit at offset positions on each face of the handle, anchoring the hand naturally and reinforcing the unified mythological design language that runs from blade collar to kashira.

Black Lacquer Meets Golden Fire

The saya completes the visual statement with confidence. A high-gloss black lacquer body anchors the piece, providing the darkness against which every gold and amber tone ignites. A bold orange and amber accent band at the koiguchi ties the scabbard directly to the warmth of the blade and fittings, creating a two-tone contrast that is dramatic without being decorative excess. The black braided sageo, cleanly knotted at the upper saya section, provides the final counterpoint, grounding the composition. At 72 cm of blade, a total assembled length of 102 cm, and a weight of 1.4 kg, this sword does not merely sit on a shelf. It occupies it.
