The Ten no Yari sword is built around a full-tang T10 high-carbon steel blade, ground to a classical shinogi-zukuri geometry with a high shinogi ridge, moderate tori-zori curvature, and a refined chū-kissaki medium point defined by a clean yokote line. The blade surface receives a kagami-migaki mirror polish, bright and consistent from spine to tip, while a a bo-hi runs the entire length of the blade. This 72 cm blade is a full-size, proportionally authentic expression of the Japanese katana tradition.

Every element of the Ten no Yari katana koshirae has been conceived as part of a single, coherent mythological narrative. The round gold-tone tsuba is cast in high relief with a composition that brings together waves, wind, fish, and dragon scales, a classical heaven-and-water pairing drawn from centuries of Japanese decorative tradition. The fuchi features gilded alloy with floral detailing, the kashira matches in finish and tone, and black dragon menuki rest beneath the handle wrap, grounding the gold-and-black palette with a final flourish of symbolic power. Tsuba, fuchi, and kashira form a fully matched set, unified in material, color, and intent.

The Saya That Commands a Room

The scabbard of the Celestial Spear is lacquered in deep mirror-black, its surface unmarked and luminous, creating an immediate visual contrast against the gold phoenix feather motif rendered with exceptional detail. A gold-colored silk sageo completes the ensemble. The tsuka is clad in faux ray skin samegawa with its characteristic nodular texture, then hand-wrapped in a tight hineri-maki diamond pattern using golden tsuka-ito, deliberately coordinated with the gilded fittings throughout.
