Its black T10 steel blade, full tang and available sharpened or unsharpened, is forged using traditional swordsmith methods and finished by hand. The blade’s profound charcoal-black surface carries a full-length engraved lightning bolt and thorned-branch pattern, rendered in brilliant silver-white contrast that seems to pulse with each shift of the light.

The tsuka, built on a solid wood core wrapped in dark faux stingray leather and bound in a tight black diamond-pattern tsuka-ito, is fitted with carved skull menuki, mythic sentinels of transformation, offset traditionally on both faces. The matched fuchi and kashira set in finely engraved silver alloy frame the grip with cohesion and precision.
