The Shinkai Mugen sword is built on a foundation of authentic katana geometry: a 1060 carbon steel blade forged using traditional swordsmith methods, with a full tang construction, shinogi-zukuri ridged profile, moderate tori-zori curvature, and a chū-kissaki of measured, classical proportions. A genuine notare hamon, formed through differential tempering, runs in soft undulating waves along the edge, evoking the slow movement of deep-sea currents. The bo-hi, carved along the upper blade, catches the light and sings faintly with each draw, like wind skimming an open ocean.
