The Silver Sword That Commands Every Room

There are blades that cut, and there are blades that speak. This silver sword belongs to the second kind. From the dramatic drip-wave hamon tracing the edge in bright silver-white against a deep blue-black ji, to the coiling dragon gripping the tsuba with articulated claws and whiskers, every element of this katana was designed to arrest attention and hold it. This is not a weapon pulled from a battlefield. It is a piece pulled from legend, a mythological object made real, built for those who collect meaning as much as metal.

Crafted to Honor the Dragon

The blade of this silver katana sword is forged using traditional swordsmith methods in manganese steel, ground to classical shinogi-zukuri geometry with a high shinogi ridge that creates the broad, flat shinogi-ji panel characteristic of the finest Edo-period silhouettes. The chū-kissaki tip is precisely formed, with a clean yokote line and a boshi that turns back in a shallow kaeri toward the mune. The result is a blade with authentic structural proportions, sharpened or unsharpened at your choice, and finished to full tang construction for uncompromising integrity from tip to handle.

Traditional Craftsmanship, Uncompromising Quality

A katana is more than a sword, it’s a symbol of precision, discipline, and Japanese heritage. Our katanas are crafted with respect for traditional sword-making standards, offering you a reliable, durable, and beautifully finished blade. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced collector, you’ll find the perfect katana for your needs.

Katana

Steel Dressed in Light and Shadow

The two-tone blade finish is what separates this silver katana from every comparable piece on the market. The ha (cutting edge area) carries a mirror-bright polish that throws light with cinematic clarity, while the ji and shinogi-ji are darkened to a cool blue-black satin, producing a contrast of almost theatrical intensity. The hamon, rendered in a bold drip-wave pattern flowing continuously from habaki to kissaki, burns like molten silver against this darkened ground. The gilded brass habaki in a geometric kikkō design, creates a layered gold accent zone at the blade collar, a rare decorative detail that elevates the transition between steel and mount into a deliberate design statement.

A Koshirae United by Silver and Myth

Every fitting on this katana speaks the same visual language. The round takabori tsuba, cast in antiqued silver-finish metal, presents a sinuous ryu coiling across its full face, surrounded by kumo clouds and five-petaled sakura, with complementary scrollwork on the reverse. The fuchi wraps its full circumference in dense arabesque wave patterns, while the kashira delivers a bold three-dimensional sculptural head in matching antiqued silver, with individual mane strands and fierce open expression visible in high relief. Dragon menuki sit at their traditional positions beneath a pure white hineri-maki diamond wrap, laid over samegawa with natural white pigmentation spots visible through the even, tightly tensioned tressage. The saya in grey lacquered solid wood, adorned with a crackle-lightning pattern and completed by a white sageo, seals the unified white-and-silver identity of a piece that does not simply belong in a collection. It defines one.
