The rounded gilded brass tsuba features wave and wind motifs with a kozuka-hitsu hole, while the fuchi is cast with a high-relief dragon head, and the matched kashira completes the set with the same antiqued warmth. Gilded dragon menuki are positioned in traditional staggered placement beneath the black diamond-pattern tsuka-ito, their forms visible through each opening in the braid.
