The Kurotsuki katana blade is forged using traditional swordsmith methods in three-tone Damascus steel, three distinct shades running along the mune, through the blade’s center, and across its crest, creating a shifting, hypnotic surface that catches light from every angle. At 72 cm of blade length and a total length of 102 cm for a weight of 1.4 kg, the sword carries genuine physical authority. The engraved brass habaki with its black hallmark anchors the blade to the guard with precision, completing a black-and-gold two-tone contrast that is bold, intentional, and visually relentless.

A Koshirae Unified by Power

The matched dragon theme carries through every metal fitting on this Kurotsuki sword.
