T10 Steel High hardness and excellent cutting performance.
full tangBlade running through the entire handle for maximum strength.

The Kōkiba katana sword (銅刃) takes its name from copper and blade, and delivers on both: a T10 high-carbon steel blade forged using traditional swordsmith methods, treated to develop a warm, copper-toned finish that catches the light with subtle depth. A genuine hamon runs its wavy line across the surface, while golden dragon fittings, white samegawa, and a transparent-lacquered saya revealing raw wood grain make this Copper Blade unlike anything else.

Kōkiba Katana Sword, Where Dragon Fire Meets Forged Steel

Its name tells the story before the blade is even drawn. In Japanese, (銅) speaks of copper, warm and noble, while kiba (刃) declares the sharpness of the cutting edge. The Kōkiba katana sword unites both in a blade whose amber-bronze color catches every source of light and holds it, burning like embers against polished steel. This is not a sword that waits quietly on a wall. It commands the space around it, announcing its presence the moment it enters a room.

T10 Steel, Dragon Soul

The Kōkiba katana is built around a full-tang T10 steel blade forged using traditional swordsmith methods, its surface treated with a process that produces a singular warm amber-gold tone found on no standard mirror-polished or acid-blackened sword. A genuine hamon runs the full length of the blade, the result of differential tempering, its undulating boundary visible as a luminous wave separating zones of distinct hardness. The bo-hi carved along the blade face lightens the structure and produces the characteristic whispered note that resonates with every draw.

Traditional Craftsmanship, Uncompromising Quality

A katana is more than a sword, it’s a symbol of precision, discipline, and Japanese heritage. Our katanas are crafted with respect for traditional sword-making standards, offering you a reliable, durable, and beautifully finished blade. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced collector, you’ll find the perfect katana for your needs.

Katana

A Dragon in Every Detail

The golden alloy tsuba is cast in high relief with sinuous dragon iconography, its scalloped multi-lobed form an imposing presence at the crossguard. The fuchi carries the motif forward along the blade collar, and the kashira crowns the handle terminus with a majestic dragon’s head in gilded alloy. Beneath the brown diamond-braided tsuka-ito, genuine white stingray leather (samegawa) provides the tactile foundation, while golden dragon menuki are set at traditional offset positions, anchoring grip and amplifying the mythological register of the entire assembly.

The Saya, a Final Revelation

Where most scabbards conceal their construction beneath opaque lacquer, the Copper Blade saya offers the opposite: a transparent lacquered finish that lays bare the natural grain of the wood beneath, framed at each end by contrasting black kojiri and koiguchi collars in brass. The two-tone black and copper sageo, braided with careful attention to tension and pattern, winds around the saya mouth in an elaborate knotwork that releases into free-hanging tasseled ends. Every element, from the warmth of the copper-treated blade to the gilded dragon fittings, the burnt-orange ito, and the grain-revealing scabbard, forms a unified visual narrative that rewards both the first glance and the long, unhurried look of the devoted collector.
